Greetings Mustang Families!

We are 4 days away from the first day of school ! We are so ready to meet your students.

Our first day of school is this Wednesday, August 14. Doors will open at 8:00a.m. for students to enter.

Be advised, parents will not be permitted to walk students to class on the first day of school, August 14. We will have enough adults in the hallways to assist students with finding their class. Your students are in good hands. 😊

Arrival

Doors open at 8:00am. All walkers, car riders, and bike riders will enter through the cafeteria doors. If arriving via car, be sure to make two lanes once in the back drive way for an expedited process. Please adhere to Mustang staff traffic directions as the safety of our students is top priority. Pull forward as must as possible to allow more cars to enter the drive way.

Dismissal

Early pick up from the front office ends at 3:30pm.

Car Riders

The back driveway will open at 3:30pm. Like in the morning, be sure to make two lanes once in the driveway for an expedited process. Mustang Staff will be there to assist you. (See picture below)

Students will be dimissed beginning at 4:00 pm. Form two lines and remember there is "no pickup" in the middle lane.

Your patience is greatly appreciated the first two weeks of school as we have new students and parents learn "THE DSLA WAY" !

PLEASE NOTE: Parent park and walk up is not available at our campus.

The two churches located at the corner Gertie Barrett and Debbie Ln ( near stop light) and 1187 (across from fire station) have graciously allowed DSLA parents to park and a member of the DSLA faculty escorts the student over. Any student left after 4:15 will be escorted back to the campus.
