As we bid farewell to Mr. Dominic Byrd, we want to wish him the very best as he begins an exciting new opportunity. We are grateful for all he has contributed to DSLA and wish him much success in his new role.
At the same time, we are excited to welcome Mr. Buford Griffith to the DSLA family! Mr. Griffith brings more than 15 years of administrative experience in both the public and private school sectors, most recently serving as a Leadership Teacher. He is passionate about building strong student leaders and supporting our vision for DSLA to be a place where all are safe, successful, and celebrated. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Griffith to the Mustang family!

6th Grade Schedule Changes
Parents of 6th grade students,
We had to make a few schedule changes to help level classes and ensure balanced learning environments for all students. If your student’s schedule was impacted, they were notified by their counselor. Parents, if you check Skyward, you may notice a change in your student’s teacher or class period. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we work to ensure every student has the best possible learning experience.

The Silver Spurs and Legacy Cheerleaders will soon be hosting a Mini Spirit Clinic together for our community to come enjoy on Saturday, October 10th! Our fun-filled event is open to all K-6th graders who love and are interested in dance and cheer.
